DreamHack is an immersive gaming experience where the community comes to life. At our festival, you come to experience professional esports tournaments, amateur and high school gaming tournaments, world-famous bring-your-own-computer (BYOC) LAN party, cosplay, art, activities, expo, screenings and more.

There are a number of public transport options when travelling to DreamHack Melbourne! We recommend organising ahead using the Public Transport Victoria Journey Planner.
When tickets are released, you’ll have to pick up a dedicated BYOC LAN ticket. Stay tuned for more information on ticket types, and remember, tickets go on sale February 2022!
LAN tournaments will run on all three days throughout the weekend, with a detailed schedule to be released closer to the event
Tickets to DreamHack Melbourne will go on sale via Ticketek in February, 2022. Stay tuned closer to February to find out exactly when we’ll be releasing tickets.
No matter how old you are, there’s activities at DreamHack Melbourne that you can enjoy, however certain activities will have age restrictions, such as areas, games and tournaments showcasing MA15+ content.
Attendees to any event at Melbourne & Olympic Parks aged 18+ must have received two or more doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, or have a valid proof of medical exemption, to attend events at M&OP. Please read the full venue policy here: mopt.com.au/plan-your-visit/faqs/
You will receive a full refund within 60 days of the original event dates
Doors open Friday, 2 Sep 2022 at 9AM. Doors close on Sunday, 4 Sep 2022 at 7PM.
Parking is around $20 for full-day parking at MOPT when pre-booking your parking.
Yes, ticket registration desks will be open throughout the festival days.
Tickets can be purchased online via Ticketek.com.au. More information about ticket collection or fulfillment will be released closer to the event.
You will pick your seat when purchasing your BYOC ticket.
Request a Parental BYOC upgrade from the check-in staff onsite. They will upgrade your credential to allow access. Please note your access will be linked to your child’s seat and does not grant you a seat in the BYOC. If you want to have a seat, you need to buy a full ticket.
